This is one of my favorite faces to make...I do it all the time and like to make people laugh by breathing really fast in and out of my nose and making snorting sounds....

Redecorating the Christmas Tree!!
VICTORY!!! It's funny that it's Fritz's ornament, he was smart enough to stay clear of me and the other boys during this evening's activities.Mom's eyes

A poor attempt at a self portrait, but the dogs haven't been trained to take our picture so we had to try it ourselves!

Here she is, with and without glasses...
The story is, Mom had been getting headaches and decided to get her eyes checked. It's pretty simple really, she has slight astigmatism in her eyes, which causes the flourescent lights to bounce off her eyes at an angle-thus causing the headaches. Also she's near sighted, which has been going on for a while (she blames pregnancy). But she now realizes that it is not normal for digital numbers and words on TV to have halos.

Today I'm eating peas and carrots. They didn't have to be put in the magic bullet or mashed, I was able to pick up and chew them by myself! It was fun, after a while though I started getting full, which made be bored, and I started a game of throw the peas to the shorthairs.

The boys thought they were hiding from mom.

As you can see, I am getting pretty good with my pincer grasp and can feed myself quite well.

9 month check-up 12/4/08
Hi all,
Just a quick note to let you know I had my 9 month check-up; and I'm right on track with all of my developmental milestones. I have teeth number 6 and 7 coming in, one on the bottom and one on the top. So far so good, I haven't been too fussy. At my Dr's visit, I weighed 21lbs (80th percentile), 30" long (97th percentile) and my head circ. is 18" (90th percentile). So I'm growing and progressing normally.
I'm very active and moving from the moment I'm awake until I pass out. My favorite thing these days is MOM. I've started to cry now when she leaves me at home to go to work. (Dad says I cry until the door closes then I'm off to something else). I've also learned to slam my legs down on the floor at the same time when something makes me mad. Needless to say I've only done it once, I quickly learned NO and mom doesn't let me throw fits anymore. It's hard for her to be serious when she's saying no, sometimes she bursts out laughing--then getIs back down to business in explaining to me the million reasons why I can't throw a fit.
I love eating steamed veggies, scrambled eggs, and soft fruit (baked apples and pears are among my favorite). The dogs have figured out that I make messes and my meal times are their favorite times of day--mom makes them wait in the living room, but I throw a little extra on the floor anyway.....
I'm off to bed, hopefully I'll get some pics up this weekend.

November

Today I ate scrambled eggs with cheese for the first time! It was yummy!! I was able to pick it up and feed myself, I made a mess but most of it went in my mouth! The bananas were a little slick but I managed to get those in my mouth too!! I have 5 teeth now, and the 6th one is showing through the gum so it should be out by tomorrow or the next day.

Mom and I went to the fire station to see the engine decorated for the parade. We didn't go to the parade because we were watching the civil war football game, after the 3rd quarter mom was so mad at the game we decided to go see dad at the fire station. My first Thanksgiving! It was pretty fun, I slept through most of the dinner, but that made it easier for the adults to sit around and eat. Mostly I played with my toys and dad tried to keep me out of the kitchen since the stove was so hot.
November 28th: I'm 9 months old I've been pulling myself up to standing, walking the length of the couch, and I can climb up to the 3rd stair before anyone catches me!
Thes are my friends Zoe and Zach, they're twins and 5 years old, but very helpful and patient when playing with me. They kept me entertained while mom and dad visited with their parents.

During 2nd season elk, mom, aunt Heather and I made a quick trip to grandma's house to pick up the elk. My aunt Marinda and Cousin Kasen were there visiting. Kasen turned 1 on 10/28 and he has really cool toys that he shared with me. We hadn't seen each other since I was 1 month old, so a lot has changed since then. Hopefully sometime soon we will get to see each other again.
