I have 2 teeth now!!

Hi all,
A brief update, sorry no pictures to post: I cut my 2nd tooth yesterday (September 9th, 2008), my lower, right, front tooth! It's coming in a little faster than my 1st one did, it's hard to get a picture of them because I'm always stuffing something in my mouth, the dog's ears, blankets, well pretty much anything within my reach I've got to put in my mouth. Mom is definately not prepared for when I start crawling!! Look out world, and the house will never be the same!

September 3rd, 2008 "I have pigtails!!"

Hello everyone!! Look at me and my pigtails!!!! Oh yes I'm aware of how cute I am (disregard the dog nose prints on the window, they're as messy as me). Not much new since my last posting, I was a little sick after my shots, I had a fever for a day but now I'm feeling much better and things are pretty good in my world.

I've gotten better at sign language, from my 2wk old picture when learning to salute to "King"...he'll be so proud of me next time I see him and grandma Barbara.

I'm 6 months old today!! August 28th, 2008

August 28th, 2008~~ I'm 6months old today!! I'm starting to get used to daycare and the routine with mom going to work during the week, fortuneately I get to stay home with DAD most of the time. So many things are changing for me, last Friday I got my first tooth - my lower left front tooth. It just snuck up on me, I wasn't fussy, I wasn't sick, I've been chewing on things for weeks so that wasn't a real indication. Mom discovered it because I was chewing on her hand and she felt a sharp edge that wasn't there the night before! I'm very close to crawling, I can go backwards pretty well, in a circle, and can push myself forward a little on my belly w/my feet. Someday it will all come together.

I love touching people's faces and hair, stairing at myself in the mirror and laughing at myself, and playing with anything that makes noise!

My stats are: I'm 19lbs and 28 1/4" tall, which puts me in the 94th percentile for weight and the 98th percentile for height!

My cousin Karli (almost 9yrs), Jack (2 1/2yrs) and Brody (4wks), came to visit this weekend...finally someone smaller than me!!

I'm glad Aunt Heather is here to hold me for pictures!! She's happiest when surrounded by her nieces and nephews!

August 3rd, 2008

My friends Mia (2 1/2yrs) and Garret (5yrs) Saalfeld with their dad Joe, came to visit us for the weekend. Mom and Michelle have been friends for a long time and talked so much, then talked some more!! Then decided to go shopping in Sisters, OR.

Hanging out with my Uncle MATT...he came over for the weekend too!! A full house, a lot of fun was had by all.





Mom and I went to Sisters, OR with Grandma Barbara, Michelle Saalfeld and her mom....spent a few hours walking around town and oddly ended up in quilt stores!

August 1st, 2008 - Grandma's HERE!!

Grandma Barbara has been with me since Tuesday, we've been hanging out, and I've been a little spoiled by not having to go to daycare and having Grandma and Dad watch me this week while mom was at work.

5 months old - July 28th, 2008

I'm 5 months old today!! Scooting around in a circle, rolling over (back to front), going backwards..almost crawling! I know my name, I'm playing with my feet, knees and everything else I can reach. No teeth yet, but I laugh out loud and will grab your face with both hands if you come close enough to me....and then chew on your chin, nose, cheeks..etc. I love music and toys that make noise. I'm starting to mimick facial expressions and other movements and when no one is paying attention to me I scream at them! I also like to "growl" and have mom and dad do it back to me. My favorite time of day is somewhere between 5 and 6a.m. so I wake up mom and she plays with me for a while, feeds me, plays some more then it's time for a nap until she goes to work!! Unless of course dad is home, then I sleep in with him and play all day with dad and the boys (Jager, Fritz, and Schupo)
